Fiscal cliff, congress votes on a solution

The United states of America is about to vote on a package to solve the fiscal crisis hanging over the people of the US.

Taxes, money, jobs, businesses, shares, benefits,markets and  a country of over 300,000,000 million people will be affected.

Tax rises of 5% and huge spending cuts are looming. A reduction of $600 billion could be saved but with a potential reduction of 4% in GDP.

This will not be an immediate blow as cuts will be gradual  and some taxes can be reversed.

Democrats and Republican parties need to remember who elected them…the people.

The people of the USA elected you

You are responsible for the future of your voters. Jobs, communities, local businesses are all in your hands. The economy and future growth of the US  are in your hands. This is a huge responsibility that you wanted, so judge the situation very carefully and go with what your voters want.Go with what is best for your local people and let’s hope you choose wisely. Employment, job creation and the work of every person can be affected by the decisions you will make.

Businesses need your help

Companies in all types of industry will be affected by this decision but not dealing with it, will be the worst outcome for the whole of the USA. Think about your own people but always remember the knock on effect it will have on all other countries. The UK and Euro zone are interlinked with the US economy. The negative results on markets can damage others, from Russia to Japan, The African continent and even as far off as Australia. We live in a globalized world, so take care and vote with care.

Presidential power ?

President Obama has a very difficult night ahead of him and as a non-American I wish him , the elected and the people of the US a positive outcome. We need a strong America. We need people working and businesses booming. We need growth in the economy and we need families and individuals to have a future they are excited about. Every business owner, like me, wishes the best outcome to this fiscal nightmare. I hope the money is found and the finances of this crisis can be solved. If this is a short term financial solution to a longer crisis, then so be it but act now and do not delay. The  huge financial crisis will take a lot longer to fix and it will be solved through the drive and skills of the public. Help your people get on the right road and fix this mess now!

Good luck America and may this situation not damage you and US  more than what many are suffering from right now.

America might not be in a civil war but they are in a battle for the survival of the economic future of the people. Many people have suffered in this recession and  a solution needs to be found to stop the casualties . People, businesses and jobs need to be protected. The world is not only remembering but is watching the outcome of every move that is happening in congress. The work is not finished and many a fight lays ahead, so start with the best move for your people. The elected need to be dedicated to the great task ahead and show an increased devotion to the cause. You must resolve!

The government of the people, by the people, for the people…will not perish, so stand strong and fight!

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate — we can not consecrate — we can not hallow — this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us — that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion — that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain — that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom — and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

We the People  of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
